When booking a shared home, run the description of the home and general location through your favorite search engine and find out how many travel sites it is listed on. I’ve noticed a difference in prices between Airbnb, VRBO and other sites for the same property. You can also find different reviews on each of these sites, which can help narrow down your decision.
By using this tip, I was able to find out much more detailed info about our luxury rental. The price difference between Airbnb and VRBO was over $200 per night so we got a great deal on the property as well. Well worth a few more minutes of searching.
